I didn't watch the awards or whatever, and usually I chose the tough guy action flick over the girlie movie every time.
But I'd have to say that The Hurt Locker beating Avatar as best picture was really messed up. I didn't think Avatar lived up to all the hype, but it sure was an overall better movie experience than anything I've seen in a long time.

Lawyers around the world were pissed when Legally Blonde came out as were News Anchors with Anchorman.

But lawyers and news anchors aren't actually people, now are they? And the movie wasn't a comedy. And boxers- really, who ever cares what boxers think? Boxers start out brain dead and then proceed to methodically destroy their remaining brain stem nubs, on purpose! Just sayin...
